Similar to the Sigma 1-16 (non-refrigerated model), the operation of the Sigma 1-16K (refrigerated centrifuge) is remarkable easy. Including a low-maintenance stainless steel bowl as standard, this model also features a fan control capability that allows the user to adjust fan speed to align with the necessary cooling capacity, lowering noise levels by up to 60% and reducing power consumption.
The 1-16K has a maximum capacity of 36 x 1.5/2ml tubes and a maximum RCF value of 20,627g which enhances users’ separation results. Also features greater programmability allowing the user to specify start and stop accelerations to best serve the material being separated.
