Description

The Kern OBL 137 Transmitted Light Microscope is a flexible and reliable trinocular model ideal for use in the laboratory and vocational training. It features a fixed, pre-centered, and focusable 1.25 Abbe condenser for simplified Koehler illumination, infinity optical unit, a large mechanical stage for up to two samples, and various accessories like eyepieces, objectives and filters. It is supplied with a protective dust cover, eye cups, and multi-lingual user instructions, while the trinocular version requires a C-mount adapter for camera connection. This model is well-suited for many different applications in fields including medicine, pathology, microbiology, veterinary science, water analysis, entomology and in breweries. It is particularly ideal for challenging samples that are thin, translucent and/or low-contrast (e.g. living mammal cells, tissue, microorganisms, Immunofluorescence, FISH, DAPI staining and more).
