Enhanced temperature performance:

Unlike other ULT freezers, the VAULT100 can run at setpoint –20 °C as well continuously at -100 °C. It has been engineered to deliver excellent temperature uniformity and designed for rapid temperature recovery to protect sample integrity.

To deliver better steady-state stability and uniformity, the cabinet design has been thermodynamically engineered, the three sealed inner doors have strong magnetic latches, and the door features an ambient air-repelling gasket.

The innovative Stirling engine and electronics, along with carefully designed cabinet and inner doors, ensure that temperature recovery after door opening is rapid. This means that when operating at setpoint -100 °C, stored samples may never be exposed to temperatures above -70 °C to -80 °C.*

New engine design:

The M6D free-piston Stirling engine builds on Stirling’s innovative engine technology to deliver an even more robust solution to laboratory cooling.
