Medline Scientific attended IBMS Congress on 24th – 27th September 2017 at The ICC in Birmingham where we showcased some of our products, including the all-new Precipoint M8 Digital Microscope & Scanner. As one of the biggest conferences for the UK’s clinical sector, Medline Scientific attended IBMS to promote our equipment and services suitable for this particular field.
Representatives from Trajan Scientific and Medical joined us at our exhibition stand with whom we work with to distribute microscope slides to customers across the country.
The Precipoint M8 is one of the latest products to be produced that could lead to huge advances in the world of digital microscopy. It works as a dual microscope and scanner with a touch screen computer where you can easily navigate through slides at the touch of your fingertips. The M8 can also be operated with a tablet or smart phone. One of its main features is live-stitching where you can create a combination of individual pictures quickly taken at the highest resolution of your chosen objective. Visitors to the stand were able to take a close look at this fantastic product and see how it works.
Another product on our stand was the Digi-Pad attached to the Vulcan 9300 Automatic Microscope.
The Digi-Pad is a 5 megapixel digital camera, which comes with a 9.7″ LCD high-definition screen and is equipped with special microscopy software that runs smoothly to give users an excellent experience.
The Vulcan 9300 Automatic Microscope is a smart and innovative microscope that provides optimal operating comfort with its user-friendly design. It produces fast, effective images for laboratory and clinical applications. The microscope’s transmitted light on the ECO function turns off automatically after 30 minutes of non-use. Objectives can also be easily switched by simply pressing the microscope’s rotating buttons.
An exciting competition was another main attraction to our stand. Visitors were given the chance to win a MiPlatform from Trajan or our main prize, a Sony Digital Camera. To win these prizes, visitors had to guess the number of laboratory consumables in a large jar.
IBMS Congress was a fantastic event for Medline Scientific as it gave us the opportunity to showcase some of our latest products to people working in Biomedical Science.
