Originally designed for clinical blood work in surgeries and hospital laboratories, the SciSpin One Compact Centrifuge (SS-6100) has proven to be a popular piece of laboratory equipment. This is thanks to the rotor being able to accept not only common lab blood tubes such as Monovettes and Vacutainers, but also the generic 15 ml conical bottom Falcon (culture) laboratory centrifuge tubes.
Supplied with rotor (A12-10P) that can hold 8×15 ml, 12×10 ml/7 ml/ 5 ml tubes including blood tubes.
They are widely used in medical and veterinary practices for the centrifugation of blood and urine samples in qualitative analysis of water and soil samples. These centrifuges are also used in universities and other research institutes.
