Keeping your laboratory equipment well maintained will improve its running efficiency and extend its working life, so you can save money on your energy bills and lower your carbon footprint.

In addition, we offer a green upgrade refrigeration solution, which offers older units a new lease of life. Our experienced engineers can fit green compressors (and gases) into older refrigeration units for improved running efficiency and longer life cycle, thanks to the new compressor.

For customers tasked with reducing their energy consumption, we can install multi-purpose devices that monitor, control and report on power usage for your equipment. This can highlight any units that are not running optimally or efficiently.

ULT freezer hire/loan service

Our customers can hire ULT freezers on a temporary basis to assist with the following types of on-site activities and issues:

Whilst defrosting and/or cleaning your unit(s)
When introducing or updating your inventory management system (e.g. re-labelling, stock checking and clearing etc.)
If your freezer is being repaired
To meet the requirement for short-term, increased storage capacity for a project or particular activity
If you do not have the budget to purchase a freezer

Our loan units offer an economical solution for a variety of short-, medium- and long-term on-site storage requirements.

Wireless monitoring systems

We recommend regular maintenance of your laboratory equipment for reliable operation and long life. However, a laboratory wireless monitoring system is highly recommended for protecting your critical research and any valuable medicines, samples, specimens and reagents.

Systems provide real-time monitoring and are scalable to meet future requirements, with sensors available for temperature, humidity, CO₂ concentration, power/energy monitoring, door opening, etc. Requirements for industry-compliant monitoring (MHRA, 21 CFR Part 11) and reporting (HACCP) can also be met. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Decommissioning/recommissioning – refrigeration

For customers with multiple refrigeration units from the same manufacturer, we can offer a servicing contract which includes the decommissioning of old units. Spare parts can be salvaged and reconditioned for use in remaining units. Please contact us to discuss this bespoke solution in more detail.
